Learn to differentiate between combos, modifiers, options sets and price options to customize your menu.
Customizing Individual Dishes on My Menu
When creating individual dishes or items for your menu, you have extensive customization options. My Menu provides various ways to tailor each dish to fit your offerings and customer preferences.
Combo Meals
Combos are bundled meal deals with fixed items. For example, a burger with fries and a soda. The combo has a set price, so when guests order, they pay one price for all three items.
Modifiers or Option Sets
Modifiers allow for customizable options for dishes. For instance, in the example provided above, you could offer guests the option to add extra cheese to their burger for $1 or choose condiments like mustard, ketchup, or aioli at no extra cost.
Modifiers can also be used to upsell menu items, such as adding chicken or beef to a salad or a sauce and nuts to an ice cream.
Both, modifiers and combos are optional features. Ensure you offer modifiers that are in stock, as they can be easily turned off and on when you need.
To ease the process of menu creation, My Menu offers you the option to create modifiers and groups of modifiers (Modifier Groups) which can be added to dishes by selecting them from a drop down menu.

Price
If you offer different sizes of a dish, adding extra prices is a good alternative.
For example, offering large or individual pizzas with separate prices allows guests to choose the best option for them.
Utilize these features to maximize customization and enhance your guests' dining experience with My Menu.
